Kimi is the assistant from Moonshot AI, built on the K-series open-weight models. Kimi K3 (July 2026) is the largest open-weights model ever released at 2.8 trillion parameters, and K3.1 Pro (October 2026) pushes to a 3-trillion-parameter class with a 1-million-token context window.
