ChatGPT Atlas puts OpenAI’s assistant in the browser chrome: it sees the page you are on, answers about it, and in agent mode can plan and carry out tasks – researching, comparing and acting across sites for you.

Atlas launched worldwide on macOS in October 2025 for Free, Go, Plus and Pro users, with Business beta support. Browsing with the sidebar is free; heavier agent-mode runs draw on paid ChatGPT plan limits. Imported browser history lets you search your own footsteps too.
